Blue Cheese Automatic

Blue Cheese Automatic Cannabis Seeds by Royal Queen Seeds

Blue Cheese Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds is for growers who want feminized autoflowering cannabis seeds with a recognisable personality, not simply a route to a crop. It brings together 40% indica, 35% sativa and 25% ruderalis and Blueberry × Cheese × Ruderalis. The headline specification is up to 16% THC and low CBD, while the core timeline is 45-50 flowering days and a total crop cycle of roughly 70-80 days after germination. Royal Queen Seeds has shaped the variety around a clear identity, from plant structure and production potential to aroma and the kind of session it suits. That makes it easier to judge whether it belongs in a compact indoor garden, an open outdoor setting or a carefully planned seasonal run. This overview focuses on breeder-published specifications and practical characteristics, so you can assess its grow style, flavour and effect with confidence.

The genetic direction behind Blue Cheese Automatic

The genetic foundation is Blueberry × Cheese × Ruderalis. Royal Queen Seeds presents the cultivar as feminized autoflowering cannabis seeds, with 40% indica, 35% sativa and 25% ruderalis. That background explains why plant structure, aroma and effect do not lean in only one direction. The breeder selected these lines to preserve strengths such as automatic speed, photoperiod production, a familiar flavour family or F1-style uniformity. The published cannabinoid profile is up to 16% THC and low CBD. Use that number as a guide to overall intensity, not as a promise of an identical experience for every consumer.

Growing Blue Cheese Automatic cannabis seeds

Blue Cheese Automatic is a compact but vigorous auto. Natural indoor height can reach 70cm with yields up to 375g/m², while outdoors it can reach 110cm and produce 60-110g per plant. Low-stress training in the third vegetative week can keep it near 40cm indoors or 60cm outdoors. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor gardens, and its compact size helps growers make the most of limited room. If training is used, keep it gentle and early, as RQS specifically points to low-stress work during vegetative growth. Good airflow is especially worthwhile when late-season weather turns damp. Begin with stable conditions, an appropriate container and enough airflow around developing flowers. For autos, a low-stress approach respects the rapid schedule; photoperiod plants offer more time to establish a balanced canopy. Final height and yield always depend on environment, method and plant care.

Plant shape, buds and visual appeal

One of Blue Cheese Automatic’s standout traits is its late-flowering colour. The colas can take on striking purple hues during the final two weeks, set off by orange pistils and a sticky, frosty surface. The overall plant is short and stocky, so the dense flowers become the key visual feature rather than a tall branching frame. At harvest, use flower condition and trichome maturity alongside the breeder’s stated timing. Careful handling and drying help retain this visual quality.

Flavour, aroma and terpene character

This cultivar brings together pungent cheese, fruit, pepper, earth and a skunky undertone. Sweet blueberry notes soften the savoury cheese character, creating an aroma that is more complex than a simple dessert profile. One online strain database names ocimene and caryophyllene, reinforcing the fruit-forward lift and spicy finish of the flavour. Drying and curing influence how clearly these aromas come through. A clean, patient cure helps the brighter and deeper notes show their intended balance.

Potency and the shape of the effect

At up to 16% THC, Blue Cheese Automatic offers a manageable, functional level of potency. RQS describes it as clear-headed and uplifting, while the Cheese heritage adds a blissful, calming layer. The result is less about a heavy shut-down effect and more about a comfortable shift in mood that can still feel sociable and creative. Reactions vary with setting, serving size and tolerance. Pause after a small amount and allow the character to develop instead of rushing a cultivar with meaningful potency.

Recreational moments for Blue Cheese Automatic

Blue Cheese Automatic can fit a relaxed creative plan, an evening with friends, a music session or a slow afternoon when the flavour deserves attention. Its balance of lift and calm makes it more flexible than a purely sedating indica. The strong cheese and skunk aroma is part of the appeal, so it suits consumers who enjoy bold, old-school profiles. Keep the setting comfortable, avoid tasks requiring full attention and leave time to notice the flavour as well as the overall mood.

Blue Cheese Automatic pairs a compact 70-80-day cycle with up to 16% THC, distinctive purple-tinged flowers and a sweet-savoury cheese profile.
