Growing your own Durban Dew cannabis plant
Durban Dew is feminized seed from a photoperiod cannabis plant that will reward anyone with a large yield. She grows compact, with large flowers that can carry quite a bit of weight. If you grow her with a SCROG technique or if you top or fim her, she will grow wide and become a beautiful bushy plant with countless buds. If you bring your ladies indoors, you can count on a harvest of 450 to 550 g/m².
Really gigantic harvests can be achieved outdoors or in greenhouses. 500 to 1000 gr. to cut away. Experienced growers can’t believe their luck with Durban Dew!
Flowering period of the plant
Durban Dew delivers X-large yields in a wide variety of conditions, making her the perfect choice for the discerning outdoor grower. Her stable and resistant parental genetics also make her a good choice for the novice grower. She has an average flowering time between 8 and 9 weeks. This applies from the moment that she is set to 12/12.
Outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere, our Durban Dew is ready in September or October, depending on the latitude where you live. She blooms relatively quickly when the days get shorter. Outdoors, the average plant grows to a height of 2-3 metres. But with a little pre-growth she can even grow higher than 4 meters. This is a plant of epic proportions. The slender, thin leaves allow light to pass from top to bottom for even higher yields.
Flavours of Durban Dew cannabis
Durban Dew is a perfect marriage between two Dutch Passion classics; Durban Poison and Frisian Dew. Both are known for their rare and unique terpene profile. By connecting these two strains, the breeders have managed to produce a very tasty strain of cannabis. Her aroma is quite spicy but also sweet and fruity, just like her taste but less soft. While smoking you will sometimes have the feeling that you have a sour candy in your mouth with a delicious berry taste.
Effects of Durban Dew cannabis
Durban Dew is the perfect strain for those who like an energetic and clear Sativa up high. Because the brain is stimulated it gives a very strong high in the head. For people who don’t like a Sativa high, because it makes them paranoid, this is really a suitable strain, although a large dose can also lead to quite sedative and calming effects. The first thing you will feel is an uplifting effect that makes you bright, social and creative. You do get stoned, but you still remain active and alert for a few hours. It is certainly not a couch-lock type.
